It may have been the first taste of Spring while I was in New York, but it wouldn’t be New York if there wasn’t ample opportunity to take gritty urban photos. I am in Washington DC now (expect some monument shots soon!) but have done some quick edits of Gotham Grit Favourites. We visited the twin pools that mark the 9/11 Memorial. 18 years ago I was on the observation deck of the World Trade Centre. It was satisfying to see the new tower, exactly as tall as the one brought down.
