I am currently working with Live & Learn Environmental Education on a Sanitation and Hygiene project in Fiji, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu. As I travel between these South Pacfiic countries I am meeting local staff and community members. Slowly I am building up a collection of good portraits of each staff member, so when they write articles for the project blog and newsletter we can share their smiling faces. I use a prime portrait lens, which means I am standing quite close sometimes. The fun part of taking the portraits has been some of the out-takes, where they dissolve into fits of giggles. It’s always good to make new friends.
