Today we spent a bright summers day on the western side of the Westgate Bridge in Melbourne. We hung out in the science exhibits at Scienceworks, where we learned in the lightening lab that anti-matter is created by lightening (but not enough to power the warp drive of our Star Trek cruiser). Then we met friends to watch the kite surfers and swim in the warm water at Altona Beach. Wonderful mix of Melbourne culture at the beach, with burkini’s next to bikinis next to giant Polynesian wrestlers next to Asian instagram selfie beach modeling. And harassing everyone equally were the flocks of seagulls.
